Go Green with Window Film!

Did you know there is a an energy tax credit that you may qualify for if you get your homes windows tinted? Installing window tint can lower energy demands from utilities resulting in:
  • Lower overall energy costs
  • Decreased demand for new power generating facilities
  • Decreased environmental emissions

Tax Credit Reference for Climate Zones 4-8  (Including Kansas and Missouri)
Amount qualifying for credit is 30% of film cost up to maximum total credit of $1,500 (check with your accountant for more information). The tax credits for qualifying window film installations have been extended through the end of 2010. Window types that Qualify for films and tax credit are Dual-Pane Clear with Low E.
