Window Film is a Smart Investment
Commercial window tint by Midwest Tinting provides much more than an aesthetically pleasing appearance. Hide factory interiors and warehoused stock from public view. Conceal desks and computer wiring while providing tenants a comfortable and cheerful environment, glare reduction, heat rejection, and UV protection.
Glass windows and doors represent the most critical area of heat gain in the summer and heat loss in the winter.
An investment in a high heat rejecting window film can show a utility savings payback in as little as 2 years.
About the Film.
Our customers told us they wanted a window film for commercial applications that would make a difference without being noticed. A film that would cast a warm ambiance, yet keep the surroundings comfortable and glare free and help reduce furnishings from fading, but with limited interior reflectivity. Below are the products Midwest Tinting uses to help you achieve optimal window tinting for your business.
Optitune™

IQue™
IQue represents the next generation film with 10 multi-layer sputtered metals, designed for higher performance. The first generation of V-KOOL films is already manufactured with 7-complex layers of sputtered stacks. IQue’s Generation 2 (G2) film is developed over 10 years of extensive R&D and is the first of its kind in the world.
The film is capable of rejecting about 52% of the solar energy, while allowing 65% of daylight to be transmitted through the glass windows. Another selling point of this product is its neutral clean look, achieving the aesthetics of natural glass transparency.

V-KOOL®
Until recently, existing stores with west and south facing windows had to choose between natural light and heat control. To reduce interior temperatures and air conditioning operating cost, such facilities chose conventional heat blocking window film and gave up on experiencing the benefits of day lighting.
That choice is no longer necessary. Now, with virtually colorless, heat blocking, spectrally selective V-KOOL it is possible for existing retail facilities to cost effectively block heat while simultaneously enjoying the benefits of natural light. V-KOOL can allow 70% of the light to come through the glass while stopping 55% of the heat and 99% of the ultraviolet light. This film is a perfect summer/winter film.
